SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it can be alarmed regarding the large quantity of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The provider stage created for intervention activities a high inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it complicated SRD for your office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise read more far more resources to sassa allow the servicing of all prospects and improve entry to Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
